Instruct graduate and undergraduate courses within the Department of Modern Languages with a focus on Chinese Studies. Present and deliver lectures; develop curriculum for graduate and undergraduate levels; review and grade assignments; and provide academic advising to individual students. Advise, serve, and supervise student work and participate in continued research and scholarship in the field. Conduct academic research to advance the field of linguistics.

Attend faculty meetings and assist with departmental events as needed. Some telecommuting is permitted.

Ph.D. in Chinese Cultural Studies;
Literacy, Culture and Language; or related field required.

The salary range for this position is $58,118/yr - $62,371/yr + benefits.
