2nd Grade Teacher
Position SummaryThe 2nd Grade Teacher will deliver ambitious instruction in a classroom that incorporates evidence-based analysis of practice in order to assure that all students can achieve at high levels in a classroom that provides a stimulating, challenging, and productive learning environment. The position will work with the Campus Director, Instructional Coaches, and colleagues to implement the school's curriculum.
Position QualificationsApplicant should have a Bachelor's degree in education and state certification; at least 2 years of urban teaching experience in related field; and proven program planning and development experience. Applicant will be an excellent teacher of students, reflective and receptive to professional feedback and coaching, and possess strong written and oral communication skills.
Pay Range: $55,000.00 – $87,100.00
The included pay rate or range represents the University of Chicago Charter School's good faith estimate of the possible compensation offer for this role at the time of posting. The salary will be commensurate of years of experience and education.
