• Instruction of the course(s) listed below.
• CHEM 2320– Organic Chemistry II – Lectures and laboratory.
• Adhere to NP syllabus template, approved textbooks, supplemental materials, and Canvas LMS.
• Submit personalized course syllabus to dean one week prior to course start.
• Maintain printed course schedule meeting times and locations.
• Make yourself available to students outside of class via email and appointments as needed.
• Grade and return all assessments promptly; submit mid-term grades for undergraduate courses.
• Complete final grades and other obligations by the due date published by the Registrar.
• Document attendance records as required for federal financial aid regulations.

Adjunct instructors are compensated by semester hour (credit hour). The starting compensation for an undergraduate four‑semester‑hour course is $3,400. No benefits are provided.

• Master's degree in a related field.
• Clear understanding of North Park University's mission of Christian higher education.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Terminal degree in a related field.
• Experience using Canvas or a comparable learning management system (LMS).
• Experience teaching at the university level.
• Familiarity with online instruction.
