The PA Program seeks a full‑time Clinician‑Educator at the rank of Instructor, Assistant, or Associate Professor. This is a non‑tenure‑eligible faculty position focused on excellence in teaching, clinical education, and program development.
Responsibilities- Deliver year‑round teaching, assessment, and advisement of PA students in both didactic and clinical phases of the curriculum.
- Participate in student admissions, program evaluation, and curriculum planning.
- Support ongoing program accreditation through continuous review and assessment.
- Engage in scholarship, research, and professional development activities.
- Contribute to the program’s clinical training curriculum, including development, implementation, and evaluation of student clinical rotations.
- Master’s or doctoral degree from a regionally accredited university in a discipline relevant to PA education.
- Graduate of an accredited PA program or medical school.
- National PA certification.
- Eligible for Illinois state licensure to practice as a PA.
- Demonstrated teaching experience in a college/university‑based PA program.
- Experience with problem‑based learning.
- Base salary range: $114,000 – $159,000 per year.
- The final offer will reflect factors such as experience, qualifications, years since terminal degree, training, departmental budget, internal comparators, and external market standards.
