Salary Range: $44,000 - $167,000 per year (nine‑month academic appointment)

Additional Salary Information:
The salary offered will be determined by a combination of experience, qualifications, training, field or discipline, budget availability, internal equity, and external market pay for comparable jobs. Salaries higher than the published maximum may be offered in limited circumstances.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct and publish cutting‑edge research on entrepreneurship, especially social entrepreneurship, with a focus on Global South perspectives and conditions of marginalization, poverty, and displacement.
  • Plan and manage research to ensure Institutional Review Board (IRB) compliance.
  • Attend academic conferences, present research findings, and publish papers in scholarly journals.
  • Serve as a reviewer for academic journals in the field of study.
  • Teach undergraduate management and entrepreneurship courses, integrating social entrepreneurship and global social and environmental justice perspectives.
  • Prepare syllabi, deliver lectures and written content, grade student work, and mentor and advise students.
  • Provide experiential entrepreneurship education through venture ideation and applied exercises addressing social challenges and socially oriented goals.
  • Serve on departmental, school, university, and professional committees, including recruitment of new faculty, curriculum evaluation, and policy recommendations.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to and understanding of the University’s mission and values.
Qualifications
  • PhD in Entrepreneurship or a related field.
  • Three (3) years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct scholarly research on social entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial action under conditions of marginalization, poverty, and displacement.
  • Experience teaching undergraduate management and entrepreneurship courses with an emphasis on social entrepreneurship and global justice perspectives.
  • Strong record of support for curriculum in social venture creation, opportunity recognition in underserved communities, and inclusive entrepreneurship.
  • Ability to provide experiential entrepreneurship education through venture ideation and applied exercises addressing social challenges.

  • PhD in Entrepreneurship or related field.
  • Three (3) years of related experience.
  • Experience conducting research in social entrepreneurship and related areas.
  • Experience teaching relevant courses and supporting curriculum in social entrepreneurship.
  • Experience providing experiential entrepreneurship education.
