Part-Time Lecturers Needed

The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Chicago seeks part-time lecturers to develop and teach courses in statistical concepts for clinical research and project management and leadership respectively. The positions are renewable but not benefits eligible. Compensation is dependent on qualifications. The University of Chicago's Certificate Program in Clinical Trials Management & Regulatory Compliance (CTMI) will equip Universidad CEU students with the ability to navigate and lead the drug development process, coordinate, and manage a clinical study from both the research site and the sponsor organization, and manage a variety of projects in the healthcare industry.

Students complete the Clinical Trials & Management certificate program in one, intensive quarter of study at the University of Chicago. Appointees will be required to develop the structure and content of the course, meet with the student several times during the quarter, provide guidance for the student's independent work, evaluate the student's work, and assign a grade. Courses are held for five weeks and meet 1 day a week for a total of 3 hours, although the exact day(s)/time(s) will be determined in consultation with the lecturer.

Prior to starting employment, qualified applicants must have a graduate-level degree in a relevant field. Candidates with prior teaching experience and/or relevant practical experience are strongly preferred.
