Job Description

We are seeking a passionate, professional, energetic lead teacher who can successfully manage and maintain a well-organized classroom by continually restoring and enhancing the environment suitable for young children. Must work effectively with directors and staff members to provide a learning environment for our children, develop and execute weekly themed lesson plans, providing group sensory, art, and special activities.

Educational Qualifications
  • An Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Elementary Education, Child Development or related field.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Elementary Education, Child Development or a related field is preferred.
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) Certification.
Job Responsibilities
  • Promote open communication and foster positive relationships with parents and guardians.
  • Maintain all health and safety regulations.
  • Develop individual care plans for each child based on their stage of development.
  • Maintain daily notes and files on the children’s development and progress.
  • Model empathy through respect, response, and gentle guidance.
  • Foster emotional and social development through a secure attachment with each child.
  • Lead and plan curriculum activities that stimulate children’s interest and ability.
  • Participate in needs and service meetings, parent/teacher conferences.
  • Work effectively with directors and staff members to provide a suitable learning environment for our children.
  • Develop and execute weekly themed lesson plans, providing group times, sensory, art, and special activities.
  • Maintain a well-organized classroom by continually restoring and enhancing the classroom.
