Job Overview
Do you have a passion for teaching children who struggle to learn? If so, we need you!! A small private practice in Hyde Park is looking for a part-time learning specialist to provide individual remediation to children on weekdays with options of working in the afternoon/evenings in our Hyde Park office.
ResponsibilitiesLearning specialists will provide remediation in one or all of the areas including decoding, comprehension, written expression and math. Areas of training in Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, Slant, Lindamood Bell, Step up to writing and Touch Math are a plus!
Qualifications- Graduate degree in Learning Disabilities, Special Education, or Reading.
- Classroom teaching experience.
- Small group or individual tutoring experience preferred.
- Job Type: Part-time, Contract
- Salary: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
- Schedule:
Monday to Friday (Afternoon/evening hours available) - Education:
Master’s (Preferred) - Experience:
1 year (Required) - License/Certification: LBS1 (Preferred)
