Virtual French Teacher (Remote)

• Deliver live, on‑camera synchronous instruction for five (5) or more hours per day, every scheduled instructional day, creating an engaging and structured virtual classroom that inspires student participation and achievement.
• Use student performance data to personalize instruction, identify learning gaps, and adapt your approach to meet each student where they are.
• Provide timely, meaningful feedback on student work and maintain accurate records that keep students and families informed and on track.
• Build genuine relationships with students and families through professional, proactive communication that fosters trust and shared accountability for learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with school partners and Edmentum colleagues to ensure students receive consistent, high‑quality support across their learning experience.

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field and an active state teaching license in Ohio in Global
  
  Languages:
  
  French grades 6‑12.
• You have experience teaching in virtual and/or in‑person settings and are comfortable with the unique demands of a live online classroom.
• You are confident and engaging on camera, able to teach live for five (5) or more consecutive hours per day, every instructional day.
• You have hands‑on experience with online learning platforms, virtual instruction tools, and standard productivity software.
• You are data‑informed and can read student performance data to adjust your instruction in meaningful ways.
• You are an excellent communicator, in writing and verbally, and can meet students, families, and colleagues where they are.
• You are highly organized and self‑directed, with the time‑management skills to independently manage a full student caseload in a remote environment.
• You are committed to your own professional growth, maintaining certification and staying current on K‑12 curriculum, technology, and best practices.
• You bring integrity, warmth, and a deep belief that every student can succeed.
• You are willing to take on evolving responsibilities based on business needs.

Pay range: $45,000 - $50,000 USD.
