Workforce CE Adjunct Faculty - Dental Assisting AY

Position Summary

Provides instruction for non-credit course(s) within the specific content area.

• Providing course syllabi (including minimum college requirements, institutional holidays, grading policy, attendance rules, required materials, and other institutional or accreditation information).
• Maintaining accurate records for reporting grades and attendance.
• Providing student evaluations in accordance with institutional guidelines and accreditation/licensure bodies (if applicable).
• Meeting required deadlines for submitting end‑of‑course documentation to the division office.
• Completing required Dallas College professional development training hours per academic year.
• Performing other job duties as assigned.

• Minimum:
  Associate degree with direct work experience in the content area or specific certification/licensure related to the assigned course(s) with work experience in that area.
• For community/non‑workforce courses:
  Associate degree or direct work experience in the content area with applicable certification.
• Official transcripts required at the time of interview.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with students and staff in a teaching environment.
• Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service.

All positions are considered on‑site roles. After six months of employment, employees may apply for a hybrid work schedule. Academic (Faculty) positions require on‑campus presence, even for online teaching, as required by state law.
