Developer, Trainer

Responsibilities

• Administers the organization’s Learning Management System by launching and monitoring training
• Works alongside management and executive leadership to address their program development/curriculum development training needs
• The Staff Development Specialist manages and keeps record of employee training and certifications
• Works alongside management to provide ongoing support to new and established employees
• Provides backup support to the Human Resources team
• Performs other duties as required or assigned, which are reasonably within the scope of the enumerated above

• Equivalence of completion of four years of college
• Two years of professional experience in education or a related field
• Preferable: two years’ professional experience utilizing behavioral competencies to effectively facilitate learning and applying knowledge in the modern workplace in support of organizational goals
• Preferable: two years’ professional experience preparing training aids and written materials and assisting in the application and usage of audio and visual training aids
• Preferable: two years’ professional experience utilizing video editing software to create and edit eLearning courses
• Preferable: two years’ professional experience using a learning management system
• Preferable: two years’ professional training experience in instructor led, on-demand, and live webinar training
• Proper documentation for approved work in the United States
• Ability to travel
• Valid and current driver’s license
• Background check clearance
• Ability to work remotely and in-person as operational needs require

Demonstrates expertise in Learning Management System administration, employee training management, and curriculum development. Proficient in utilizing video editing software for eLearning course creation and delivering various training formats.
