Job Summary:

Set attendance as a high priority for students and staff,

Provide quality customer service to parents,

Staff, community and students,

Have working knowledge and implementation of the CPS mandated

Attendance Intervention Timeline, Keep up to date records for IDs and schedules,

Give professional Development concerning attendance activities,

Troubleshoot and problem solve attendance issues

Correct attendance errors and update teachers on efficient submission practices,

Input homeless information in accordance to Homeless Policies.

The following knowledge, skills, and abilities are preferred:

Ability to apply critical thinking skills when faced with challenges in order to problem solve and arrive at a solution

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to collaborate with school staff

Proficient in the use of digital technology

Capable of maintaining professionalism in various situations

Strong work ethic and drive to successfully complete assigned tasks

Required

Education:

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.
