Position SummaryThe Department of Management and Marketing in the School of Business and Entrepreneurship at North Central College invites applications for two (2) Visiting Assistant Professor of Management & Marketing positions to begin August 1, 2026.
The duties in this role include:- Provide excellent instruction in a variety of undergraduate business courses in Management and Marketing. This position has a teaching load of 24 credits per academic year. Other courses may be assigned depending on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
- Assess students’ work and provide detailed feedback on how to improve their content knowledge, critical thinking skills, oral and written communication skills, etc.
- Mentor undergraduate students through one-on-one and group interactions and independent study opportunities.
- Attend conferences and workshops as necessary to remain active in the field(s) of study and qualifications for AACSB accreditation; engage with department and School of Business and Entrepreneurship faculty to further develop teaching and mentoring skills; complete campus-wide training required by the Offices of Academic Affairs and Human Resources.
- Perform other departmental duties and attend activities as necessary, including attending faculty meetings, and participating in committees, task forces, and others as required.
- Terminal degree in business or related field such as Ph.D., D.B.A., or J.D. ( ABD ok)
- Meets AACSB faculty qualifications for Scholarly Academic
- Teaching experience
- Applicants must demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring of students, and ongoing scholarship/professional development
- Demonstrated excellence in both teaching and research
- Experience with student success and co-curricular programming and management
- Recent engagement with industry

Salary RangeThe budgeted salary range for this position is $50,000 to $60,000.
