Immerse yourself in a dynamic school setting near Chicago, serving as a School Psychologist for students in grades 7 through 12. This contract position spans the academic year from August 24, 2026, through June 11, 2027, offering a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine impact within the community.

Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting the academic and emotional well-being of students, while collaborating with dedicated educators and specialists.

Qualifications:
  • Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience or strong interest in working with middle and high school students (grades 7-12)
  • Familiarity with all aspects of special education testing, including initial and re-evaluation paperwork for IEPs
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, families, and students
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive initial and re-evaluations as part of the IEP process, including testing, documentation, and compliance with timelines
  • Prepare and maintain all required paperwork and records in accordance with relevant laws and school policies
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, and administrators to address student needs and recommend support strategies
  • Provide direct student support, as needed, assisting students in overcoming academic, social, and emotional challenges
  • Interpret evaluation results and participate in IEP meetings to develop appropriate plans for student success
