Adler University, Chicago Campus is currently accepting applications for all disciplines in our Adjunct Faculty applicant pool. Adjunct positions are available throughout the academic year, including summer term within the following programs:

• Clinical Mental Health Counseling CMHC (M.A.) Program
• (M.A.) in Counseling:
  Art Therapy Program
• (M.A.) in Couple and Family Therapy (CFT) Program
• (M.A.) in Forensic Mental Health Leadership Program
• Master of Public Administration (MPA) Program
• Master of Public Policy (MPP) Program
• (M.A.) Rehabilitation Counseling program
• (M.S.) Sport and Human Performance Program
• (Ph.D.) Art Therapy Program
• Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) Program
• (Ph.D.) Counselor Education and Supervision (DCES) Program
• (Ph.D.) Couple and Family Therapy (CFT) Program
• Certificate in Sex Therapy | Adler University Chicago

Education/Experience For Masters Program:

• A Master's in the applied concentration, or a related field with extensive professional work experience in areas that allow for teaching within a specific program is required. A Doctorate is preferred.
• A minimum of one (1) year of related graduate teaching experience is required
• State of Illinois Licensure may be required; LCP, LCPC, LMFT
• Specialized training in course designing, developing and implementing training materials
• Have a strong command of presentation software(s) and technology

• Ability to consistently identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations based on observations

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Teach courses in assigned discipline by communicating subject matter clearly and effectively.
• Participate in faculty responsibilities such as course and curriculum development and review, student learning outcomes and assessment, program review, committees, research, and special projects as needed in the discipline/department or district.
• Adapt methodologies for students with special needs and different learning styles.
• Demonstrate commitment to professional development, including but not limited to activities such as participation in professional conferences, workshops, seminars, membership in professional…
