TEACHING ARTISTS — WORKSHOP INSTRUCTORS

We’re looking for teaching artists as we build out our calendar of workshops —

Some are One- or Two-day

Some will be a series — Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced — focused on technique.

• You bring: the curriculum, the instruction, and a supply list.
• We bring: the space, registration, marketing, and students.

Instructor pay is $30/hour.

We are currently looking for the following — and any other techniques you’d like to propose.

• Copper plate printing
• Egg tempera
• Silverpoint drawing
• Water gilding + gold leaf
• Anatomy for artists
• Color theory — beginner, intermediate, advanced
• Gouache
• Botanical illustration
• Figure sculpture from the live model — oil clay, no kiln
• Shibori indigo dyeing
• Visible mending + sashiko
• Kintsugi
• Encaustic
• Illuminated letters — broad pen plus gilding
• Ikebana
• Watercolor — beginner, intermediate, advanced
• Acrylic — beginner, intermediate, advanced
• Figure drawing with live model — beginner, intermediate, advanced
• Hand embroidery hoop
• Needle felting
• Punch needle basics
• Macramé
• Mosaic — beginner, intermediate, advanced
• Alcohol ink
• Water marbling
• Wire-wrapped jewelry basics
• Holiday ornaments — (cool, not lame!)

Working artists who teach, at every stage and every path. Classroom experience is welcome; command of your technique is the requirement.
