Counseling Center Assistant

This position will assist the Counseling Center with various office duties. This student employment opportunity supports the development of skills aligned with the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Career Readiness Competencies. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist with clerical tasks such as copying, filing, scanning, data entry.
• Answering phone calls and directs calls to the appropriate department and staff member.
• Assist with checking in clients when familiar with Titanium software.
• Taking messages for the Counselors while in session.
• Maintains a professional and confidential environment in the Counseling Center.
• Will assist and prepare for major events hosted by the Counseling Center.
• Helps with hanging posters and flyers throughout the University.
• Mandatory QPR Gatekeeper Training/ dates for the training will be given by the Counseling Center.
• Peer Education Requirement
  • Serves as a liaison between the University students and the Counseling Center.
