The Chicago Lighthouse Children’s Development Center (CDC) is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to join our dynamic, therapeutic day school community serving students with multiple, severe to profound disabilities, including students who are Blind or Visually Impaired.

  Teachers receive their regular salary throughout the Summer Quarter/ESY AND are paid their hourly rate for hours worked! Teachers also have flexibility in determining the total number of hours they work each Summer.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education or related field
• Illinois Professional Educator License with LBS-1 endorsement (required)
• 2–3 years of Special Education teaching experience preferred
• Therapeutic day school experience is a plus!
