Temporary Teacher (8th Social Studies--Spanish Bilingual Preferred)--Maternity Leave Sept-Nov

Under the supervision of the school principal, responsible for the instruction, progress, and discipline of all pupils in assigned classes, and performs related duties as required.

Essential functions include instructional planning, establishing positive learning expectation standards, evaluating pupils' progress, implementing instructional methods, and maintaining records of pupils' achievements.

Participates in programs to improve student attendance, promotes anti-vandalism programs, establishes rules of conduct, maintains attendance records, encourages student growth, initiates conferences with parents, and participates in meetings.

Minimum qualifications include education and experience, successful completion of student teaching requirements, and possession of a valid teaching license issued by the Illinois State Board of Education.

Physical requirements include light work, ability to stoop, reach, handle objects, and use visual acuity.
