Job Description
Make a difference in the lives of elementary students by bringing your expertise as a Special Education Teacher to a supportive, collaborative school environment near Chicago, IL. This full‑time, on‑site contract offers the opportunity to teach and nurture grade school students in 3rd through 5th grade, within a manageable caseload of just 10‑12 students. With set hours Monday through Friday from 7:50am to 3:10pm, you’ll provide consistent support while maintaining your work‑life balance.

What you’ll need:- A Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Special Education
- Active Illinois Licensure in Special Education
- Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Collaborating with instructional teams, support staff, and families to foster student progress
- Differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs within your caseload
- Monitoring and recording students’ progress, adapting teaching as needed
- Cultivating a positive and engaging learning environment for all students
- Participating in team meetings, professional development, and school events
