Fox College is a small, private associate degree college located in Illinois and is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. The PTA program has achieved full accreditation status through CAPTE.

The PTA Instructor is a full-time, on-site role based in Tinley Park, IL, responsible for teaching courses within the Physical Therapist Assistant program. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering classroom and laboratory instruction, developing lesson plans aligned with program outcomes, and assessing student performance through exams, practical evaluations, and assignments. The instructor provides academic advising, offers regular feedback and mentoring, and supports students’ professional development and clinical readiness.

The role also involves maintaining accurate records, participating in curriculum review and program assessment, collaborating with colleagues on accreditation and compliance requirements, and contributing to departmental meetings and institutional initiatives.

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree, Master’s preferred
• Licensed PTA or PT in the State of Illinois
• A minimum of five years of experience as a licensed PTA or PT, preferably in a skilled nursing or acute care setting
• Previous clinical or educational teaching experience is preferred
• Solid classroom management and presentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, communication, and organizational skills
