Description
The University of Chicago Booth School of Business is seeking to appoint outstanding scholars to tenure-track positions in Finance for the 2027-28 academic year.
QualificationsWe invite applications from those who hold a PhD (or equivalent) or expect to complete the requirements for a PhD in finance by July 1, 2027 or soon thereafter. (We require all tenure track faculty to have a PhD or equivalent. We will appoint those whose degree requirements have not been satisfied by this date as instructors, the expectation being that all PhD requirements will be satisfied soon thereafter, at which time you will be appointed as an assistant professor.)
Members of our faculty are expected to conduct original research of exceptionally high quality, to teach effectively, and to participate in and contribute to the academic environment.
