Visiting Professor, Math

• Provide instruction and support to DeVry University's Advantage Academy high school population in Chicago
• Facilitate student learning by teaching courses and programs in accordance with DeVry University requirements
• Develop course syllabi and lesson plans and apply teaching techniques to achieve course and programmatic objectives
• Organize, prepare, regularly revise, and update course materials
• Use online technologies and course-related software, including websites, email, and online discussions
• Model effective oral and written communication
• Set course expectations, terminal objectives, assignment and examination dates, and evaluation weighting
• Ensure exam content and level correspond to course terminal objectives
• Prepare and grade exams consistently and fairly and provide timely student feedback
• Integrate responsible AI technologies in the classroom and address appropriate and inappropriate student use of AI tools
• Complete other duties as assigned

• A master’s degree with 18 graduate credit hours in the subject being taught is required
• Applicants must upload unofficial graduate-level transcripts with their application
• Degrees must be awarded by an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation, or by an international institution determined to hold equivalent accreditation
• Additional requirements driven by state licensing or accreditation considerations may apply
