Position Summary

The Clinical Psychology Department at The Chicago School is seeking several highly qualified adjunct instructors to join our diverse faculty at our Downtown Chicago Campus. The position involves teaching graduate‑level courses in areas such as:

  • Assessment
  • Statistics
  • Biological Bases of Behavior
  • Social Bases of Behavior
  • Cognitive/Affective Bases of Behavior
  • Psychometrics
  • Psychopharmacology
  • Psychology of the Lifespan
  • Neuropsychology
Principal Duties
  • Design and implement course instruction and provide evaluation of students.
  • Maintain communication with department administration, faculty, and students.
Position Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or a relevant area of scientific psychology.
  • Clinical Psychology license (when applicable).
  • Relevant training and experience in the area of expertise.
  • Successful graduate‑level teaching experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Commitment to academic excellence, service to the community, research, and diversity.

Compensation & Benefits

This opportunity is budgeted at $1,124–$1,540 per credit and may vary per course with student enrollment. Additional compensation factors may impact total compensation. Benefits include generous paid time‑off, medical and dental insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement plan with employer contribution, multiple flexible spending accounts, and tuition reimbursement.
