- Teach practitioner-focused courses to undergraduate and graduate students
- Facilitate student learning in accordance with DeVry University requirements
- Develop course syllabi and lesson plans
- Apply teaching techniques to achieve course and programmatic objectives
- Organize, prepare, revise, and update course materials
- Use online technologies and course-related software, including websites, email, and online discussions
- Model effective oral and written communication
- Set course expectations, terminal objectives, assignment and examination dates, and evaluation weightings
- Ensure exam content corresponds to course terminal objectives
- Prepare and grade exams consistently and fairly
- Provide timely feedback to students
- Integrate responsible AI technologies into classroom teaching and learning
- Recognize, evaluate, and address appropriate and inappropriate student use of AI tools
- Complete other duties as assigned
- A doctorate degree is required
- 18 graduate credit hours in the subject being taught
- Applicants must upload unofficial graduate-level transcripts with their application
- Degrees must be awarded by an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation, or by an international institution determined to hold equivalent accreditation
