The Educational Leadership program at Chicago State University invites applications from well-qualified candidates to fill a tenure-track faculty position beginning September 1st, 2026. The selected individual will teach Educational Leadership courses in Doctoral Studies, PreK-12 School Leadership, Higher Education Administration, and Instructional Leadership.

Required Education

Qualified applicants should possess a terminal degree (Ph.D., Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership or related field.

Required Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities

Preference will be given to candidates who have an earned doctoral degree in Educational Leadership. Rank will be commensurate with experience.

Preferred Qualifications

1) Current and past experience with chairing dissertation committees and directing candidates through the dissertation process;

2) proficiency in doctoral level courses especially in the area of qualitative and quantitative research.
