The University of Chicago's Department of Microbiology invites applications for tenured or tenure-track faculty positions at all ranks. We welcome researchers in microbiology and related areas, with emphasis on host–pathogen interactions, viral and bacterial pathogenesis, and emerging infectious diseases.
Appointees will teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses, may teach in the medical school, and join collaborations across the Microbiome Center and other divisions.
