Position: Virtual Specialized Education Instructor - Arizona (Mod/Severe)
Description
  • Deliver specially designed instruction and compensatory education services for students with active IEPs.
  • Develop and implement data-driven, individualized lessons in literacy, foundational math, executive functioning, and functional life skills.
  • Create, manage, and monitor student IEPs while handling case management responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with IEP teams, including teachers, parents, and students, to coordinate services and tailor instruction.
  • Administer screenings, conduct progress monitoring, and complete formal outcomes assessments.
  • Provide virtual instruction using meeting platforms and instructional technology.
  • Coordinate service schedules and maintain required documentation and compliance records.
Requirements
  • Active Arizona educator license or certification with a Moderate/Severe Disabilities, PreK-12 Endorsement.
  • Experience in self-contained classrooms and school-based specially designed instruction.
  • Experience supporting diverse student populations.
  • Strong collaborative communication skills with IEP teams, families, and students.
  • Proficiency with virtual service delivery, meeting platforms, and instructional technology.
  • Dedicated private workspace with secure high-speed internet, reliable computer, and webcam.
  • Availability Monday through Friday during traditional school hours, 8:00 a.m.

    -4:00 p.m.
  • Minimum availability of 15 hours per week.
