What you’ll do- Base out of our Lemont, IL. service center and manage a team of 20+ technical employees, providing functional and technical support while ensuring adherence to safety practices and quality standards.
- Oversee scheduling, coordinate fleet and staff deployment for daily projects in the shop, and maintain inventory accuracy and cycle counts.
- Ensure facilities are safe, clean, and operational; handle purchase orders and service execution; manage fleet maintenance, availability, and reliability.
- Drive repair efficiencies through accurate repair planning and forecasting to meet deadlines.
- Drive adherence to business practices, cost controls, and company policies to ensure profitability, operational efficiency, and harmony.
- Provide reporting and analysis for the Service Center Manager, maintain electronic timesheets, and track technician time variance.
- Minimum of an associate’s degree or relevant years of experience, preferably in the Power generation, HVAC industry, and/or equipment rental.
- Proficiency in MS Office and prior experience with an ERP system.
- Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, customer service, and leadership skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi‑task with flexibility and adaptability to changing schedules and shifting priorities.
- Management experience in a diverse and technical environment.
- Competitive compensation package: $85,000‑$120,000 salary.
