Title: Senior Project Developer, Community Solar (Illinois)

I'm working with an established Midwest solar developer that's looking to add a Senior Project Developer to its team. They develop community solar and utility scale projects, and this role will lead their community solar work in Illinois.

What you'll do

Lead Illinois projects from site selection through to notice to proceed
Find and secure sites, and negotiate directly with landowners
Run county permitting, including special use permits and public hearings
Manage interconnection with Com Ed and Ameren through the study process
Position projects for Illinois Shines and handle program requirements
Coordinate engineering, environmental and legal consultants
Represent projects at zoning boards and community meetings

What you'll bring

5+ years in solar project development
Illinois community solar projects you've taken to NTP yourself
Strong knowledge of county permitting and interconnection in Illinois
Comfortable leading the room with landowners, county boards and local officials
Minnesota community solar or storage experience is a plus
Based in Illinois
