Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage mechanical contracting projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and vendors to coordinate project activities effectively.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential risks, proposing and implementing solutions to ensure successful project completion.
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for mechanical contracting projects, considering materials, labor, equipment, and other relevant factors.
- Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to develop competitive and value-driven bid proposals.
- Conduct thorough analysis of project specifications and requirements to provide precise and detailed estimates.
- Oversee mechanical contracting projects in the new construction sector, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions that meet project goals.
- Drive the design-build process by working closely with the design team to develop innovative and efficient mechanical solutions.
- Manage the coordination between design, construction, and project stakeholders to streamline project execution.
- Manage plan-spec projects by interpreting and implementing project specifications and blueprints.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and construction teams to ensure accurate and timely project delivery according to plans and specifications.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management and estimation within the mechanical contracting industry.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, and related mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in project management software and estimation tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing project requirements.
