Overview
This dynamic position offers the opportunity to work onsite at diverse customer locations, providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for cutting-edge automation systems. Responsibilities- Install, repair, and maintain AGV systems at customer sites, ensuring optimal performance.
- Travel extensively (60-75%) across North America and internationally to address technical issues promptly.
- Perform electromechanical tasks including wiring, calibration, hardware assembly, and troubleshooting.
- Configure and update system software, conduct fault diagnostics, and analyze system performance data.
- Maintain detailed service records and report progress using the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with customer technical teams, providing guidance on system operation and maintenance.
- Review technical documentation and schematics to resolve system issues efficiently.
- Contribute to process improvements and participate in special projects aimed at enhancing service quality.
- Adhere to safety and quality standards, actively participating in related programs.
- 2-3 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or computer science disciplines, with a focus on electromechanical systems.
- Proven experience in service or maintenance engineering, including troubleshooting and customer interaction.
- Willingness to travel extensively (60-75%) within North America; valid driver’s license required.
- Preferred:
Hands-on wiring experience, associate’s or bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines, experience with software/hardware integration, soldering certification, and knowledge of Windows/Linux systems.
