Overview
Substation Physical Designer - Utilities Division
Responsibilities- Lead the design of complex projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Prepare, review, and maintain detailed drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Manage project documentation, including scope, design inputs, and quality checklists.
- Oversee scope and quality review processes to uphold high standards.
- Identify and resolve technical challenges proactively throughout project life cycles.
- Collaborate effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in power delivery system design.
- Strong understanding of industry-standard design practices, codes, and regulations.
- Some college education preferred; focus in electrical engineering, design, or related field is advantageous.
- Detail-oriented with excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
