This role involves investigative field work to determine the root cause of failures primarily related to electrical systems and components, followed by submitting a report of findings and testifying in support of those findings when called to do so.
Essential Functions- Complete hands‑on failure analysis assignments in the field and testing facility.
- Document facts and finalize reporting of findings.
- Apply theories and knowledge to real‑world situations.
- Complete assignments on time as requested by client.
- Conduct ethical practices consistently.

Education and Experience
10 or more years of engineering experience.
Other Requirements- Licensed Professional Engineer
- Valid Driver’s License in good standing, demonstrating safe driving habits and capable of being insured by our company policy.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check, as required for the position.
This is a full‑time position. Some flexibility in hours is permitted, but the candidate must be available during the standard work hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Physical DemandsThis position requires field work, travel, and sedentary work. The employee must regularly drive, stand, sit, walk, reach, type, talk, hear, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, push, pull, carry, and lift up to 50 pounds. The employee may also be required to traverse wooded and/or uneven terrain, enter structures, use ladders, walk on roofs, enter small spaces, and work in various weather conditions.
TravelRegular travel will be required as part of the Forensic Engineer position. Some overnight travel may be required.
