Candidate will lead design and plan production teams to successfully deliver transportation infrastructure projects involving freeways, highways, roadways and bridges. Candidates should have experience working on Phase I and Phase II transportation projects in Illinois, ideally for both IDOT and the Illinois Tollway. Micro Station and Open Roads knowledge are required.

Pay Range – $84,000-$120,000
- Leading a team of engineers and drafters
- Interacting and communicating effectively with team members, clients, and other agencies
- Coordinating with subconsultants
- Directing and training staff on project engineering (roadway geometrics, corridor models, staging)
- Preparing project design and environmental reports
- Assisting with the preparation of proposals and contracts
- Participating in quality control/quality assurance
- Developing Client Relationships
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- PE license required (Illinois)
- 7 to 12 years of progressive experience in transportation design
- Familiarity with Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) and Illinois Tollway design engineering practices, standards, and documentation
- Experience with Micro Station V8i SS10, Open Roads Designer Connect Edition (CE), Project Wise, AutoTURN, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam
- Ability to collaborate with the design team, clients, and agencies
- Good decision-making skills, flexibility, focus on quality, and attention to detail
