Network Engineer / Network Infrastructure Engineer

As a Network Engineer, you’ll own the design, performance, and protection of enterprise networks that directly support day-to-day operations and long-term growth. This is hands-on, high-impact work for someone who likes to be at the center of the action—not on the sidelines.

Location:
Chicago, IL

Status: 100% Full time on site and in the office.

• Play a key role in protecting and optimizing a large, business-critical network environment
• Own network architecture decisions—from design through implementation and support
• Work cross-functionally to support new applications, technologies, and growth initiatives

• Design, implement, and support LAN, WAN, and intranet environments
• Administer and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, and voice networks
• Monitor performance, security, and capacity across on-prem and cloud environments
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls including firewalls, IDS, and VPNs
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and document changes and resolutions

• Be able to do the job as described.
• Degree in Computer Science or related file
• Deep knowledge of routing, switching, and network security
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention
• Comfortable monitoring cloud and datacenter network traffic
• Strong analytical mindset with clear communication skills
