Job SummaryManage new machine projects from kickoff through Site Acceptance Test (SAT), ensuring successful delivery, customer satisfaction, and alignment with technical, financial, and logistical goals. Serve as the key point of contact between customers and internal teams, driving execution, maintaining timelines and budgets, and ensuring all contractual requirements are fulfilled.
Essential Functions- Manage projects from kickoff through SAT
, ensuring customer requirements, technical specifications, and contractual obligations are met on time and within budget. - Act as the main liaison between customers, suppliers, and internal teams, enabling clear, timely, and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain detailed project schedules
, track milestones, manage budgets and contract modifications, and ensure documentation complies with ISO 9001. - Coordinate technical activities
, including machine layout development, procurement, risk evaluation, and on‑site execution to support smooth project delivery. - Represent the company professionally in internal meetings and at customer sites, ensuring positive customer experience and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Required travel up to 20%.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Proficient in interpreting plant layouts, technical drawings, and using 2D/3D CAD systems.
- Skilled in project scheduling, tracking, and using ERP/PLM tools to manage deliverables.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management abilities.
- Demonstrates cross-functional collaboration, strategic thinking, and sound business judgment.
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing or Electrical Engineering/Engineering Technology or technical field degree:
- Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience.
- or an associate degree with 8+ years of experience.
- or 10+ years of experience.
Work is performed largely in an office or climate-controlled warehouse environment. Some hours will be spent at various remote locations. Hours of work are generally during regular business. There will be some variation in work hours due to employee shift schedules, special projects, deadlines, customer needs and various other business concerns. Out of town and overnight travel, both local and international, is required for business and education, by air and/or auto.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, as well as, the ability to bend, kneel, walk or sit for extended periods of time. The ability to reach above head and below knees is also required.
