Civil Project Engineer

• Perform structural analysis and design for utility and substation infrastructure projects
• Design structural steel and reinforced concrete components including foundations, equipment supports, containment systems, and structural framing
• Prepare engineering calculations, design packages, construction drawings, and technical specifications
• Review shop drawings and support construction-phase engineering activities
• Apply relevant structural engineering codes and industry standards (ASCE, ACI, AISC, IBC, IEEE/NESC as applicable)
• Coordinate with electrical engineers, project managers, contractors, and utility clients to ensure constructible, compliant designs
• Participate in occasional site visits and field coordination activities

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited program
• 5–10 years of structural engineering or related design experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain
• Experience with structural analysis and design of steel and concrete systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams

• Utility, transmission, or substation infrastructure project experience
• Experience with structural design software (e.g., STAAD, RISA, SAP
  2000 or similar)
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Micro Station, Revit, or comparable drafting platforms
