A leading engineering organization is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to support the growth of its Mission Critical practice. This team delivers high‑performance structural solutions for hyperscale data centers, high‑reliability facilities, and critical infrastructure projects.

Position OverviewAs a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering complete structural design packages, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring structural systems meet stringent performance, resilience, and reliability requirements expected in mission critical environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesStructural Design & Leadership
- Lead the structural analysis and design of mission critical facilities using steel, concrete, and hybrid structural systems.
- Perform gravity, lateral, seismic, and blast‑resistant design calculations.
- Ensure all work meets relevant building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC).
- Review, sign, and seal engineering documents as required.
Project Execution
- Oversee structural deliverables through all project phases, from schematic to construction documents.
- Coordinate closely with architects, MEP engineers, and project managers.
- Conduct site visits, structural observations, and respond to field issues.
Client & Team Collaboration
- Present structural concepts and technical decisions to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Participate in project planning, scheduling, scope development, and resource allocation.
- Mentor and support junior engineers, promoting technical excellence and growth.
Quality & Innovation
- Maintain high standards of technical quality and consistency across deliverables.
- Implement innovative engineering approaches suited to high‑reliability facilities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of tools, workflows, and best practices.
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (with structural emphasis).
- 7+ years of experience in structural engineering.
- Strong knowledge of steel and concrete design.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, RISA, RAM, SAP
2000). - Professional Engineering (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6-12 months.
- Experience preparing engineering drawings, details, and specifications.
Preferred
- Experience in mission critical, industrial, or large‑scale commercial facilities.
- Familiarity with blast design, progressive collapse, vibration analysis, or similar specialties.
- Master's degree in Structural Engineering.
- Background working with cross‑disciplinary and global teams.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
