The successful candidate will contribute to technical due diligence engagements for multiple types of assets, including renewable energy, conventional generation, oil & gas, transmission, water, data center/digital infrastructure, and new energy projects such as hydrogen, ammonia, carbon capture, and renewable fuels on behalf of lenders and investors. Initially serving in a supporting role to a multidisciplinary team of Independent Engineering and Technical Due Diligence consultants, the role involves collecting and analyzing data, developing technical assessment reports, conducting site visits, maintaining client contacts, and progressively taking on overall project management responsibilities.

• Develops applicable knowledge bases by using best practices to redefine tools and techniques
• Outlines specific performance measures, targets, and goals to articulate the business case for realized efficiencies or added value
• Contributes to multiple projects at any given time
• Translates analyses into written reports and presentations

• Demonstrates a solid working knowledge of conventional generation, oil & gas, transmission, water, data center/digital infrastructure and/or renewable energy technologies such as solar PV, wind, and battery energy storage
• Leverages experience with plant engineering and design, inspections, outage assessment, portfolio budget processes, equipment condition assessment, capital project assessments, reliability/availability assessments, conducting field observations, performance assessments, and/or financial analysis and models
• Applies appropriate methods or recognized equivalents to identified client needs
• Anticipates and resolves technical problems with occasional technical assistance from others
• Develops, presents, and defends conclusions, recommendations, and implementation plans
• Analyzes and applies best practices knowledge of the relevant industries

• Engineering degree or other technical degree (financial, economic, or MBA degrees considered if accompanied by supporting relevant experience)
• General knowledge of a complete transaction engagement and due diligence lifecycle
• Building business development capability
• Advanced technical or industry knowledge, including power generation experience (e.g. plant operations, engineering, consulting, and/or management)
• Solid working knowledge of conventional generation, oil & gas, transmission, water, data center/digital infrastructure, and/or renewable energy technologies, such as solar PV, wind, and battery energy storage
• Knowledge in one or more aspects of consulting processes
• Human relations skills including collaboration and team functions
• Ability to operate multiple software packages, including Microsoft Office and other PC applications

• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience
• 4+ years experience in a business/consulting environment

Certifications related to area of expertise, where applicable, are preferred.

• Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based on manager discretion, job performance, and work assignments
