Within RWEST’s Commercial Analysis and Global Strategies department, strategic market analysis is responsible for all long-term analysis, modelling and price forecasts. Our insights cover forecasts and scenarios for inputs (macroeconomics, energy demand, (fossil) fuel and carbon markets, investment cost and technological change, emissions targets & regulation), long-term modelling and price forecasting for electricity and hydrogen.
RWE will benefit from de‑carbonisation, renewables expansion and technological change with further investments into future technologies such as Renewables, Electrolysers and (Hydrogen or CCS‑ready) gas generation.
To support RWE’s investment plans and growth strategy for the US, your responsibility is to support long‑term US power modelling in order to cover important US electricity or energy markets with in‑house modelling and forecasts. You will be based in Austin or Chicago in our office premises (Austin is preferred) and report into the Head of US long‑term power modelling.
