Your Impact
  • Responsible for the production of highway, interstate drainage and local stormwater improvement projects.
  • Conduct hydrological and hydraulic analyses.
  • Ensure that drainage designs comply with relevant environmental regulations and standards.
  • Prepare drainage related regulatory permits.
  • Direct and/or perform drainage engineering calculations from Phase I drainage studies to final design.
  • Direct and/or develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
  • Coordinate with project staff, other disciplines and sub‑consultants.
  • Develop drainage scope of work, budget, and schedule.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of drainage designs and reports.
Who You Are
  • 15+ years of drainage design experience required.
  • IL PE is required.
  • BSCE is required.
  • CFM is a plus.
  • IDOT and ISTHA drainage design experience required with proficiency in Microstation, Open Roads Designer, and stormwater modeling software, including HEC‑RAS, HEC‑HMS, SWMM and HY‑8.
  • Ability to provide guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
  • Ability to monitor project progress with respect to project budgets, scope of work, and schedules.
  • Two‑Dimensional Hydraulic Modeling experience in SRH‑2D is a plus.
