Project Manager
Job Description
Direct and coordinate the work of project teams across all disciplines throughout the full project lifecycle. Manage staffing plans, balance workloads, and ensure timely completion of all project deliverables. Facilitate work sessions with team members and stakeholders to support the development of project deliverables. Build and maintain strong client relationships. Participate in marketing efforts, proposal development, and contractual agreements. Oversee multiple small to medium projects concurrently, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and quality expectations.
Implement and uphold QA/QC procedures across all project phases. Monitor project progress and adjust team efforts as needed to maintain schedule and quality standards. Track and manage the financial performance of assigned projects. Coordinate with teams to ensure work remains within approved budgets and timelines. Collaborate with Accounting, Operations, and Business Leadership during periodic project reviews.
Responsibilities

Essential Skills
* Substation project experience.
* Project management experience (minimum of 2+ years).
* Utilities engineering knowledge.
* 7+ years overall experience.
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
* Experience in substation design and transmission.
* Proficiency with MS Project and MS Office Suite.
* Professional Engineering License strongly preferred.
Additional
Skills & Qualifications
* Experience with Access is a plus.
* Experience in substation engineering and power delivery.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52.88 - $84.13/hr.
