Aerospace | Defense | Safety-Critical Manufacturing | Precision Welding | RFQ-Based Sales

This role is built for sales professionals who understand safety-critical manufacturing environments.

We are partnering with an established international industrial manufacturing group to expand its US contract manufacturing presence supporting aerospace and defense customers. The focus is on selling high-precision welded metal components where tolerances, repeatability, documentation standards, and process control are non-negotiable.

This is not equipment sales. It is consultative, engineering-driven contract manufacturing sales within highly regulated supply chains.

You will collaborate with global engineering teams and coordinate closely with US-based production operations to ensure feasibility, capacity alignment, and execution reliability.

This position is remote within the United States with 40–60% travel across a predominantly US-wide territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop aerospace and defense customer relationships across the US

  • Lead RFQ-driven sourcing and supplier qualification processes

  • Review technical drawings, tolerances, and compliance requirements

  • Align customer specifications with manufacturing feasibility

  • Support long-cycle, multi-level decision processes

  • Build stable, long-term supply partnerships

Ideal Background
  • Technical sales within aerospace or defense manufacturing

  • Experience in contract manufacturing, fabrication, or precision welding services

  • Familiarity with regulated, documentation-heavy environments

  • Long-cycle B2B sales experience

  • Demonstrated long-term tenure in prior roles

Engineering background preferred but not required.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $105,000–$125,000
Approximately 30% performance-based variable compensation

401(k) match, PTO, health insurance, car allowance, full equipment provided.
