Engineering Design & Testing Corp. (EDT) is an employee‑owned forensic engineering and technical consulting firm with 45+ years of experience serving industrial, insurance, and legal clients nationwide.

Serves as the Engineer-In-Charge (“EIC”) managing and conducting investigations involving residential, commercial, and industrial buildings, structures, and structural components including roofing, foundations and building envelopes.

Performs structural analysis, hazard and damage assessments, lab and field testing of construction materials, design and construction defect evaluations, and premise liability evaluations.

• Abilitytotravelout-of-town,withperiodicovernighttravelrequired;

  PC,Tabletandsoftwareskills,including:
• B.S.orM.S.Degreein Civilor Structural Engineering required ;
• 7+years’experienceincivil/structural engineering,preferablywithresidentialorcommercialproperties;
• Experienceinstormdamageandbuildingenvelopeevaluationorforensicengineeringpreferred,butnotrequired;
• P.E.License with
  
  NCEESregistrationrequired;
• Valid driver’slicenserequired;
