Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and critical-thinking Human Factors Intern to join our innovative team in Chicago, IL. As a Human Factors Intern, you will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge of human factors principles and methodologies to real-world projects, while learning tangible skills from experienced Human Factors professionals on the team.

  • Assist in planning and conducting usability studies
  • Analyze and interpret data collected from usability studies
  • Support the creation of research reports and presentations
  • Contribute to the development of user interface designs and prototypes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate human factors principles into product development processes

Some domestic travel (approximately 20%) will be required for supporting usability study activities.

Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
    • Currently a Junior or Senior (graduating 2027 or 2028)
  • Strong knowledge of human factors principles and methodologies
  • Familiarity with user-centered design processes and basic understanding of ergonomics
  • Excellent research and problem-solving skills
  • Strong technical writing and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Interest in human factors and product design for drug delivery/combination products
  • Relevant coursework or project experience is preferred
Additional Information

$20.00 - $24.00 USD hourly
