Job Description
This position is accountable for supporting and maintaining the Environmental Health and Safety ("EHS") programs, activities, and control measures for the site, coordinating these efforts with various compliance programs to protect personnel and assets. The role ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local occupational health, safety, and environmental requirements.
Shift & TravelDays Shift: Monday – Friday. 5% Travel.

Responsibilities- Develop and initiate programs and processes in partnership with site management to reduce frequency and severity of occupational injuries, illnesses, and property losses.
- Integrate risk/loss controls into daily operations.
- Support employee‑led safety committees.
- Maintain incident management systems and processes, including change procedures and documentation, and safety observation and hazard tracking systems.
- Record and analyze incident records and make recommendations for corrective action, emphasizing proactive intervention.
- Support practical compliance with safety, health, and environmental laws and regulations.
- Plan, coordinate, and lead all site EHS training.
- Foster a positive safety culture through professional interactions with employees and maintain a strong shop‑floor presence.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship.
- Associate’s degree or higher, or two (2) years of experience in environmental, health and safety.
- Formal training or at least one (1) year of experience using continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma, 5‑S, Lean Manufacturing, or Transactional Lean.
- At least one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing or distribution facility.
- Prior experience managing industrial safety standards, including respirator and lifting safety.
- At least one (1) year of experience in environmental, health and safety, or completion of a Sherwin‑Williams Development Program in an EHS function.
- Experience using a safety management system.
- Experience conducting training and/or developing training materials.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental, Health & Safety, Engineering, or Business.
