General Summary
The Structural Engineer, supervised by the Manager of Structural Engineering or Project Engineer, provides technical, organizational, and communication skills to produce well‑designed and coordinated construction documents for structural systems.
Responsibilities- Keep current with latest code publications and apply them in everyday analysis as applicable.
- Formulate design and/or analysis of structural framing systems and perform necessary calculations.
- Perform basic engineering analysis, including lateral design with limited guidance.
- Conduct field measuring and checking at construction site to verify existing conditions.
- Prepare construction documents, including drawings and specifications, to comply with company standards.
- Communicate with other disciplines to produce well‑coordinated construction documents.
- Review shop drawing submittals to assure design intent is met.
- Maintain project file containing project calculations, correspondence, and appropriate reference material.
- Communicate scope changes to the Manager of Structural Engineering and Project Manager.
- Use available structural computer programs to enhance productivity and verify results with manual checks.
- Act as a positive representative of the company and its core values.
- Assist interns with day‑to‑day tasks.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering, or related field;
Master’s preferred. - Professional Registration required.
- Experience:
5–10 years of related experience in the structural engineering field. - Analysis: RISA, RAM, ETABS, and/or SAP
2000 preferred. - Drafting:
Revit and Bluebeam.

The annual base salary range for this position is $89,000.00 to $. Individual pay is based on relevant experience, job‑related skills, education, and training.
