Senior​/Principal Engineer

Meet is partnered with an exciting life science company who is seeking to expand the team with a Sr/Staff/Principal level engineer to join ASAP.

They are open to candidates outside of medical device background (aerospace, auto, etc).

This will be an onsite contract-to-hire role or 6mon to start, and then convert to full-time / FTE permanent. The pay range can be anywhere between $150k-$200k ($75/hr-$100/hr) depending on the candidate and level of experience.

• Broad knowledge of manufacturing processes (injection molding, machining, 3D printing, automated assembly)
• Advanced skills in tolerance analysis, predictive modeling, and GD&T
• Demonstrated success in launching products into high-volume manufacturing
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills

• You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, lead complex projects from concept to production, and mentor junior engineers to ensure technical excellence and continuous innovation
• Lead the design, development, and validation of mechanical and electromechanical components, subsystems, and systems for products.
• Apply advanced modeling, simulation, and analysis (FEA, tolerance analysis, DFM/DFA) to create robust, high-performance, and manufacturable designs.
• Translate product requirements and user feedback into innovative design concepts and detailed engineering specifications.
• Work closely with electrical, software, manufacturing, and quality teams to deliver integrated, high-quality solutions.
• Serve as a technical mentor, guiding and developing junior engineers and project teams.
• Support design transfer to high-volume manufacturing, engaging with vendors and leading process validation
• Represent us as a technical expert with internal and external partners, including customers and suppliers.
