Senior Civil Engineer, Aviation

In this role, you will be a part of the Aviation Design team based in Chicago, IL, Houston, TX or Dallas, TX. The projects will be with major airports across the United States.

• Lead design efforts in some or all of the following areas:
  Airfield geometry, Airfield pavement design, Airfield lighting and signage, Utility installation and relocation, Construction phasing, Airport access roads and security facilities, Landside transportation facilities.
• Prepare contract documents, specifications, reports, and detailed cost estimates.
• Construction administration.
• Assist with aviation group project management and business development.
• Lead meetings and team members.
• Mentor team members.
• Project proposals.
• Technical reports, presentations and client communications.
• Task delivery, budget management and quality control.
• Supervise the work of junior team members.
• Make a positive contribution to the overall team culture and environment.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 7+ years of related airport design experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer.
• Proficient with AutoCAD or Microstation.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal skills that focus on meeting customer requirements.

The pay range for this role is $100,000 to $150,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
